In 2010, we drove to St. Johns in New Brunswick, Canada, where we stayed over to catch the early ferry to Digby, Nova Scotia. Normally, we would have taken the ferry from Bar Harbor, Maine, to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, which is on the south end of the peninsula. Our destination was White Point Resort, which is also on the southern end of the peninsula.
Unfortunately, this ferry had stopped running due to some financial issues. Instead, we needed to drive further north of Bar Harbor and then drive south to our destination. If and when we get back to Nova Scotia, we certainly hope that the Bar Harbor to Yarmouth ferry is running.
Anyway, if you would like to look at the book that I have published on the trip, it’s here and called June 2010 White Point, Nova Scotia.
